Even though The Hound of the Baskervilles and A Study in Emerald were written by different authors there were a few similarities that stood out to me. These stories were nearly identical in structure with its detailed imagery, argent and over confident main character, and an ever curious companion; however, there was one small difference that I had noticed.
From the beginning of both The Hound of the Baskervilles and A Study in Emerald you notice that the Mister Henry Camberley (main character of A Study in Emerald) and Sherlock Holmes liked to show off their skills.
