Unlike Hinduism, there are many churches compared to temples in the United States. These sanctuary places are important in order to reconnect with their God. Since there were not many temples close to their home, Indians spent a lot of money in creating temples and some as if it was worth it. India is considered to be “spiritual and unchanging place,” while America is described to be the land of “material.” These Indians are in between conflicts of trying to settle in American and getting the necessary occupations to take care of their families. Hinduism share a common goal with Christianity, they want to protect their children with their religion. However, Hindi parents can do as little as several of their children transition to college and cannot have the full support they gave them at home.
