In the play “The Diary of Anne Frank” and the timeline “Frank Family and World War II Timeline” they both discuss the traumatic events of World War II. “The Diary of Anne Frank” talks more about Anne Frank, her family, and friends that go into hiding. The timeline “Frank Family and World War II Timeline” discuss the events of World War II. The audience may learn many things from the play and the timeline but in different ways. The play “The Diary of Anne Frank”, is about Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl living in Amsterdam during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. Fearing they’d be captured and sent to a concentration camp, the Franks went into hiding. Anne, the young thirteen-year-old girl kept a diary and filled it with emotion and events of things that happened while she was in hiding. From the diary, the audience learns more detail about how precautious they must be when hiding so no one will find them. “Shh! I can hear a man’s voice talking.” (Act 1: Scene 3, paragraph 151).
