The essay I’m writing is about The confetti girl and Tortilla sun. The author is Diana Lopez and Jennifer Cervantes. A good summary about the story would be that the main conflict is that both girls in each story both fight with their parents. In confetti girl the girl fights with her dad about studying. In tortilla sun its about moving. A clear statement would be that Both girls fight with their parents f=or different reasons.

In confetti girl the girl is angry with her father. Part of her anger is towards the volley ball game. The parents point of view is that he is trying to make up for the volley ball game by making dinner for the girl. But after dinner he asks about her homework and he tries to help but she just gets angrier at him. This
