Follow your Heart by Anthem Lights connects to when the Alchemist talks to Santiago on page 132. During this time, the Alchemist and Santiago crossed the desert for two straight days in silence. The Alchemist remained silence as they approached the most violent battle grounds during the war. The boy tried to listen to his heart and figure out the message the Alchemist was saying to him. Santiago is on his way to go to the pyramids and the Alchemist tells him to follow his heart as it will be where the treasure is. On page 132 it says “ The heart knows all things because it came from the Soul of the World”. This quote can be connected to a quote from the song “ Some say follow your own heart and it will never lead you astray”.This
