Comparing The Advancement Of Technology In The Book Feed

The Advancement of Technology Throughout the books Feed by M. T. Anderson, and The Shallows By Nicholas Carr, it shows how the world is quickly advancing through technology, striving to become a better, and more efficient world. One problem that comes with this advanced tech we create, is the limit of who can afford and have access to our technology. People who are not capable of getting their hands on our improved devices fall behind the rest of the world, and can not advance with us. This does not improve our world if the whole world can not improve. The world of Feed is obviously much more advanced and high tech than our world today. The Feed is a very popular device that is implanted in your head at birth, that lets you do pretty much everything today's Smartphone can do, but more efficiently, and you always have access to it, because it happens to be connected to your brain. Not everyone has a Feed, in fact, only about 73% of Aamericans have the Feed (112 Anderson), because maybe it's too expensive, or just simply chose not to have one. The world relies so much on the Feed however, it was nearly impossible to fit in, or do the things everyone else could.
