Have your parents ever persuaded or made you do something that you didn't want to? What if all parents made their kids marry who they chose. Life would suck. There wouldn't be any real love in the world. Parents should never chose who their children can marry or date. A kids love life should be chosen by the kid. Some people think that parents have the right to choose who their children are gonna date or marry which will make it hard for their kid to learn from experiences and have a good social life. In the play write Romeo and Juliet Juliet's parents choose that she should marry a guy name paris. Even though Juliet's true love is romeo. Juliet had the courage and strength to disobey her parents and marry romeo in act 2, scene 6, and scene numbers 4-21. Which results in their death. So because Juliet “killed”herself Romeo also committed suicide.

If parents limit their love life to whoever the parents want they won’t know if that type of person is for them or not. In my life my parents let me date and talk to any girl I want and from my experiences I've learned what type of girl I need in my life to make me and that person happy. I have a friend who isn't able to date until they graduate and they don’t have that good of social interactions with people making them very shy. Kids have the right to their own life and if a parent chooses who they marry or date they will be unhappy. The whole point of dating is to figure out if this girl is right or wrong for you and if parents choose who you marry you won’t know if this person is right for you or not.
