Comparing Steinbeck's 'Of Mice And Men'

1) Lennie by accidentally kills one of the puppies and he tries to hide it under a pile of hay. It seems as if he is more worried that George wont let him tend the rabbits, than he is upset with the fact that the puppy is dead.
2) Curley's wife enters the barn and tells Lennie not to feel bad about killing the puppy because there are plenty of dogs in the world. She also tells him that she could of been a movie star, but things didn't end up well for her.
3) Lennie shares his liking of petting soft things with Curley's wife and she tells him that her hair is really soft. Of course Lennie couldn't stop his temptation to pet her hair so he ends up doing so, but he pets her hair too hard and he snaps her neck.
