Sherlock Holmes was known as a famous autistic detective in the 1800 's (Sherlock Holmes biography). It was unclear how he could solve crimes on such little knowledge of the information. Sherlock Holmes was not autistic. For a long time, everyone was sure he had a case of the Asperger 's syndrome. In this case, Sherlock Holmes 's did not have Asperger 's syndrome or autism at all. Christopher Boone and Sherlock Holmes both share certain behaviors. For example, they both had a really vivid memory. They both are characters of a novel trying to solve crimes (The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time). For some reason they both had fragile social issues, and only could trust very few people. Sherlock Holmes could only trust John H Watson his best friend (Sonya Freeman-Loftis. "The Autistic Detective: Sherlock Holmes and his legacy"). Christopher actually was able to gain some trust with his parents even though he had to deal with a few lies, like a rocky rollercoaster. He certainly gained a lot more trusting relationship with his teacher Siobhan. These suspicious characters both did not have a sexual attraction towards women
