Love is Enough Famous film and television actress, Joan Crawford once said, “Love is a fire. But whether it is going to warm your hearth or burn down your house, you can never tell.” Choosing to be vulnerable is one of the scariest actions that one can partake in. Considering the order of the books assigned this semester, the main characters progressively became more vulnerable in the order that the books were assigned.…

Love is something not many can describe with one word, but more by actions. Love is all about feeling something. A connection with another individual that affects them not only in their social life but deep down, it pulls at their heart. Marriage is the joining of two souls that deeply care about each other enough to devote their lives to each other. Their desire to spend time with each other everyday rules above all else. The books of “Wuthering Heights” “Mrs.Dalloway” and the “Importance of Being Earnest” shows the irony and exposes the fact that in each respective time period that the novels were set in, no one marries for their feelings for one another.…

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

Showing how Romeo could move on so quickly after being “heartbroken” over Rosaline shows how he always needs affection and wasn’t really in love with Rosaline. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy, not a love story. This statement has perpetually been a contentious issue, as plenty would believe that Romeo and Juliet is the finest love story of all time whilst others will argue that the story is not of love, but of lust. To make a well-informed decision, it is necessary to first comprehend and discuss the main themes and context of the play. Romeo and Juliet is a famous play, written by William Shakespeare about two teenagers, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, who fall into an ill-starred love and are obliged to keep it confidential. Their families are involved in a terrible feud and to love each other in public seems inconceivable for them.…
