Pleasantville and American Graffiti had character that involved into a different personality as the movie progressed. Pleasantville brother and sister get dragged into a famous show, and are forced to be in it. On the other hand American Graffiti have a group of friends that are breaking apart due to college. There are characters from both of the movies that are unsure about their life. Later on that day when the show was about to go on he got in fight with his sister which ended up in a broken remote. And this old guy showed up to his house to fix his remote, and David answered all the correct answers to the show and even corrected the old guy. This helped the guy realize he was the right person for the show. This whole time it made us realize that David was a huge geeky fan of the show "Pleasantville", who was to scared to ask out a girl.
When David enters "Pleasantville" his life changes as the show goes on. David changes throughout the movie and becomes a leader. One example of leadership he showed was when he stood up for Betty when she was being followed by the group of boys. The moment he stepped up for Betty his color started to come in. Another example of great leadership he showed was when he and bud drew a picture on the wall, knowing they would get in trouble.
David also found out the reason why people turned into color, he forced Betty husband and the mayor to turn into color. But the biggest example of leadership David showed was when he returned home and his mom was crying at the dinner table. He helped out and made her

David (Toby McGuire) has the picture perfect world of Pleasantville memorized from top to bottom. He envies the life of Bud and his family living in the ‘pleasant’ 1950s sit-com. David is a nerdy high school sister who’s parents are divorced and they couldn’t care less about spending time with him. Conjointly, his sister, Jennifer (Reese Witherspoon), doesn’t want anything to do with him either so she doesn’t jeopardize her popular status. However, when Jennifer and David get stuck in the same house the same night, they argue over the remote and break it.…

Something that makes a leader is seen in all of us. Leadership skills don’t only consist on how courageous or strong you are. Being a leader is more about your commitment, passion, and trustworthiness. Leaders have been seen all over the era of slavery by many slave abolitionists that have put their mind to something and changed America as we know it. People like Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, and President Lincoln have all took the liberty of trying to make America a better place and after many hardships we have finally achieved a goal.…

The novel Montana 1948, by Larry Watson tells the story of a family gradually being divided due to the the loyalty of some family members being broken. The story is told from the perspective of David Hayden, a 50 year old man reminiscing on the summer that “changed his life”. His father, Wesley Hayden, is the most significant character in the novel and plays a pivotal role in the story. David Strorm’s personality changed profoundly throughout the development of the novel (making him a complex and dynamic character). Two experiences David underwent which I personally believe that was significant to the storyline is: The Capture of Katherine and Sally: The secret group had to make a decision after acknowledging that the Waknuk people tortured Sally and Kathleen and gave them a demoralizing fate. The question which appeared was, should we stay and conceal ourselves until they find us, or should we flee to the Fringe’s land in hopes for an opportunity of freedom?…
