i think that the interview with the Japanese transport ministers was interesting, it help to understand the two sides of the story. Also, I think that the book blends the human characters with the animals there is a connection, for example, the mom, cook and sailor were replaced by animals. When Pi say's " And so it goes with God", to my understanding what Pi is trying to say that is does not mtter which story we choose to believe, at the end only Pi and God know the truth of what happend in the lifeboat. In the story Pi's is letting choose a story, we will all choose diffrently depending on what we believe or if we have faith or if we don't have faith in God. We all have different interpertations if we have a strong background in religion
