So it all started right after Odysseus and his men were in Thrinacia with the sun god , Helios . The sun god said that if they go straight to Phaeacia they will take longer to get home , but if they go to an island somewhere around Phaeacia they will get home faster. He also said that if they get there , there will be someone to help him and his men . This secret island is unknown it doesn’t have a name no one hardly even knows it’s there or heard of it. However , the sun god tricked them. That “someone” that was going to help them actually wasn’t , because this creature doesn’t like Odysseus , but Odysseus doesn’t know that. “When you encounter my friend tell him that I sent you.” said the sun god with a laugh .
