Ocean is the biggest part on the earth. There 71% of area on the earth have been covered by the ocean. The ocean entailed the 97% of liquid on the earth. “The oceans provide 99 percent of the Earth's living space- the largest space in our universe known to be inhabited by living organisms.” (http://savethesea.org/STS%20ocean_facts.htm) So far, humans have only discovered 5% of ocean. There are 5 main ocean in the world which are Arctic, Atlantic, Indian, Pacific and Southern. …show more content…
The temperature in the marine is changeable. Temperature in the ocean depends on the current density and salinity. If the temperature increase, there will be more space between molecule and molecule, therefore the density will be decrease. As we know the biggest difference between ocean and lakes, river, or ponds is that ocean contains a plenty of salt. Salts are exist in the ocean as molecule form. So if the density decreased, the salinity will be decreased either. Which means the high temperature, the lower density and salinity is. For example, if the ice berg which in the North pole melted. There are a lot of fresh water flow into the seawater. That will decrease the density and salinity of sea water. Which means increase the temperature of seawater. High temperature will makes ice berg melting easily, so that it will become a vicious
