No Exit Oedipus Analysis

Two works have similarities, as well as difference. No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre, in addition to Oedipus Tyrannus by Sophocles, both of theses works have different prospectives’ on fate, and free will. No Exit is based on three main characters Garcin, Estelle, and Inez all of these charters have made bad life choices in life, thus they pay for the consequences in hell. Garcin is a coward, stuck-up, lastly, he complains a lot, he feels that everyone should feel sorry for him. Estelle, loves attention from men. Inez, is the type of person who wants to be in control of people, and make one’s life extremely miserable. Throughout the play Oedipus Tyrannus, Oedipus is fated to be a king, and under him being king his city fall apart, on the other hand it was his free will to not blame the heart aches on the gods. No Exit is based on three main Characters Garcin, Inez, lastly Estelle.
