Comparing Mercutio In William Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

Mercutio was Romeo’s good friend. Someone he trusted and looked up to.
After the wedding Romeo had gone back home and came across Mercutio and Tybalt a Capulet; Tybalt was Juliet’s cousin.

“Romeo tried to stop the fight, ” an eye-witness says. Romeo was now family to Tybalt and wanted nothing but peace between the two families for his sake and Juliet’s. Without consideration on what the prince said the last time the two families fought on the streets of Veron, the two went at it. Unfortunately, Mercutio lost the battle and past away due to a stab wound. Romeo lost someone who was close to; he was enraged.

“Romeo wasn’t thinking straight; he was really mad. He then ran after Tybalt” another eye-witness says.
The two started to duel.
