The story of a lover and a fighter. Mercutio is a foil character to friend Romeo. these two characters are alike in the fact that they are friends but they are different in personalities. they are similar in the fact that they are both in the montague family and that they both don’t like capulets. Their differences are that they are different in personality they both make different choices and they both have different outlooks on war. The similarities between Romeo and Mercutio are that they are both montague and they both have a dislike for the Capulet family. No one knows why the montagues hate the capulets the origin of their feud is unknown Both Mercutio and Romeo are both descendants or the Montague family they are both well respected individuals who are very popular among the other members of the family.They are well respected because they are close to Lord Capulet. The Capulet family to both Romeo and Mercutio are a bad family. They both hate the capulets to an extent Mercutio wishes death to capulets, while romeo wishes peace, however he still doesn’t like the family, He is only making peace with the Capulet family to gain trust for him to be able to marry Juliet. …show more content…
