Lord and Lady Capulet gave Juliet no choice in choosing who her husband should be. Juliet’s fate to marry Count Paris was inevitable. They threatened to disown her unless she married Paris. The Capulets, just like all parents nowadays, should allow their children to choose their own husbands/wives. No parent should be allowed the right to choose who their child can or can’t marry. Everyone should be granted the access to choose who their loved ones should be. If children had their parents choose their husband/wife for them, then their life may end up unhappily due to not finding the right person for them.
