Leadership is a quality that enables an individual to thrive in a group setting, making rational decisions that have tangible consequences (Nahavandi, 2016). It means a bad leader can destabilize a well-performing team using ill-equipped techniques and strategies while an exceptional leader embraces challenges as a learning experience in the course of becoming an even better leader. Scar’s leadership style demonstrates that of a bad leader; specifically, a transitional leader. His kingdom is built on broken promises, lack of trust, and control. His only goal is to become more powerful, so he uses his own people to make him stronger. Scar is obsessed with keeping total power for himself and has no desire to help make others grow into great leaders.
