Comparing Julian And Quarta In Wonder

Julian and Quarta are very different. In the story Wonder, by RJ Palacio Julian the cool and popular kid is a big bully to a kid with a disability. On the other hand Quarta from The Girl Who Was Born With Only Two Arms And Two Legs is the kid that is getting bullied because she has only two arms and two legs. Even though Julian and Quarta are alike in a way, they are even more different because on how they look, act, and their social life. The first way there different is on how they look. They look different because Quarta is a bug more pacificaly a spider she also is a girl with a disability were she only has 2 arms and 2 legs so for a spider that means instead of the 6 she only has 4. On the other hand Julian is a human so he is not a bug like Quarta and as you can tell by his name that he is a boy and the most obvious is that Julian …show more content…
She is shy because since she has a disability she doesn’t talk to a lot of people therefore they have to come to talk to her but she doesn’t talk to them. In being shy you are probably quiet she doesn’t really try to stand out because she know that there is a chance that she might get bullied for it. On the other hand Julian needs to be noticed he is the popular kid everyone wants to be around. He is loud when you expect a popular kid you expect the person to want to stand out everyone has to notice him and he will take it too far like to bully a kid with a disability just to be known as one of the “Cool” kids.They also act different towards others like Quarta is nice trying to make friends and is very caring. In the story The Girl Born With Only…… when kako was drowning in a tide pool Quarta was the only person who wanted to help and when she saved him she got tease that she was a monster.
