Unfortunately sometime after my Carnegie Hall performance my life came to an abrupt end on June 22, 1969, at age 47—when I overdosed on barbiturates and was found lying dead on the bathroom floor in Chelsea, London. Today I am still remembered for my greatest success starring as Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz.” I hope my legacy is carried on and people remember me for being the bubbly, spirit lifting girl I was...Bye now I have to find my way back to Kansas, (Turns around) *We’re off to see the Wizard the wonderful Wizard of Oz” *Sits down and beckons
