Lady Macbeth becomes so focused and narrow-minded on the crown that she will stop at nothing in her tracks to achieve it, even if that means killing King Duncan herself. Hearing that her husband doesn’t want to corporate she rants that Macbeth should “Be so much more the man”, and how he is a coward for not following the original plan (ln 51). Lady Macbeth proves to be very cold blooded and heartless; she says that killing King Duncan would be easy as easy as murdering a baby by stating that “[She] would, while it was smiling in [her] face/ Have plucked [her] nipple from his boneless gums/ And dashed the brains out” (ln 56-58).
