The educational attainment is different from country to country. Educational attainment in Saudi Arabia is really poor; most of the studying materials are focusing on the religious education. Moreover, the Saudi education system still relies primarily on rote memorization. A student is to learn what the teacher says. The student is not to question it and is not to amplify it, and doing so will usually result in some form of punishment: physical or failing grades. In the United States students feel more excited in school than home, because students spend a lot of time in school activities, rather than at home. In the United States, schools start about 8:30A.M and ends at 4:30 P.M. However, in Saudi Arabia it starts at 7:00 A.M and end at 1:15 P.M. So, in Saudi Arabia students spend less time on school, and consequently, they engage in fewer activities.
