Comparing Hamlet's 'Rosencrantz And Guildenstern'

1. Hamlet has just completed hiding Polonius’ corpse; however, the audience and the characters in the play do not know where it is yet. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern enter and demand that Hamlet reveal where he has hid the body; however, he refuses, instead he says that the body is with the king, but the king is not with the body, which implies that it is hidden somewhere in the castle, perhaps, in the king’s chambers. Shortly after, he compares Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to sponges that the king uses and abuses to get information, then Hamlet agrees to see Claudius.
4. Hamlet tells Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, “to be demanded of a sponge,” (IV, ii, Line 10).
I believe this quote may pose some sort of significance because Hamlet is using
