Comparing Goldfish And The Lottery

There are two stories that have the same theme. They both do the same thing. The story Goldfish, and The Lottery both show that some people are kind, generous,caring, and think about others before themselves. The story of Zacnite and Vanessa both say people are kind, generous, kind, caring and think about others before themselves. The four stories say how people can be kind and how it affects other people or maybe things.

When it comes to, the Goldfish and The Lottery, most of the stories talk about the good deeds someone can do for many others instead of benefiting themselves either they know them or not. An example in the Goldfish would be when, the narrator explains, “That first that Sergei used up when they discovered a cancer in his sister.” Meanwhile, in the story the Lottery an example of a good action would be when Mrs.Dunbar offers to draw in for her husband. “Who’s drawing for him?” “Me, I guess” a woman said….’’ Wife draws for her husband. “ She drew for her husband knowing what the consequences were. …show more content…
It also shows that Sergei is generous due to the fact that he helped he asked for his sister's cancer to disappear. Another trait this quote demonstrates is that Sergei is a benevolent person. An example we used for the Lottery shows ho Mrs.Dunbar cares for her husband which is why she offers to draw for him. The love she has for him is way too strong to see him suffer of getting chosen. Kind and caring would also describe her, and her noble actions towards her
