The government also thinks that Ender could save humanity from the third invasion. After the battle between Ender’s and Alai’s army, he thought, “The most terrible thing, though, was the fear that the wall can’t be breached and Alai was glad to be separated, and [now he was already Ender’s enemy].” (Pg. 171) Ender was a talented and skilled rival, even though Alai and Ender were friends, in the battle field they were enemies. If you have a lot of pressure then you’re always in your own world. If you can’t share then you drift apart from all your possessions and loved ones which makes you lonely. Ender and Jonas were all given significant responsibilities like holding onto memories and to save humanity. They didn’t get loved because work and responsibility were always before love. Everyone had high expectations and relied on them, so they couldn’t think about themselves and focused to help others. Without love you feel like a person curled up in a small corner of the world and it makes you secluded, and if people trust you to save humanity or hold onto memories you desire love, but your priority will be your duty. The quote by Mother Teresa, signifies that loneliness is a feeling that people shouldn’t experience because everyone deserves love.
