Looking from the other side how come Batman still remains to be such a fascinating superhero whose fame isn’t fading regardless not possessing the superhuman powers? So, naturally :-), I decided to compare these two superheroes in several categories and then to decide which one is better. 1. Round 1-The Technology; Every true fan of Batman knows that this superhero possesses a very wide range of the most various hi-technology equipment, due to the fact that Bruce Wayne is a wealthy man, which money can be put to good use when fighting off Superman. Well, looking from the other side, Superman has the mighty kryptonite, despite that fact in a classic adaptation of the comic book “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2”, we actually have the opportunity to see that Batman was farther than able to go toe-to-toe with Superman by using its super- powered mechanical…

Villains are an interesting bunch in that the same person can be seen as both minor/major, or helpful/dangerous. I guess the same could be said about heroes though. Chuck Klosterman, a best selling author, wrote an essay titled “Electric Funeral,” a chapter of I Wear the Black Hat: Grappling with Villains (Real and Imagined), which details villains of today-different types of technocrats. The three “villains” he mainly focuses on are Perez Hilton, Kim Dotcom, and Julian Assange, who each vary greatly on the spectrum of their acts. Hilton is a blogger who likes to post photoshopped pictures and articles, Dotcom created Megaupload, a website to post copyrighted material illegally, and Assange is the head creator of WikiLeaks.…

Hero. The first thing that one thinks of when they hear the word is most likely a person with the superhuman abilities of being able to fly, read minds, or easily crush anything in their path. While, most heroes do not possess all of these traits, they do exhibit some. In Beowulf by unknown, the main character, Beowulf, is a great hero to the Danes. He demonstrates his heroic qualities when he defeats a strong monster named Grendel with just his bare hands and saves the Danes from more pain and heartache.…

If I were offered the role of a the villain or the hero in a movie, I would absolutely choose the villain because of their many layers of complexity. Also because, nine times out of ten, being the hero tends to be a very stereotypical role. The hero usually comes from a tough or troubled background, overcomes that adversity to rise above and saves the day. It is typically cut, dry and in many cases predictable; while on the other hand, the villain is not always revealed or identified immediately. A villain typically has a complex backstory that many do not know until late in the movie, so the actor or actress faces the challenge of having to let that complex backstory come through, without giving too much away.…

Perhaps instead of fighting off and killing of these villains, the hero should try to get them the help that they need. One example of a villain who is misunderstood and hated in a story is the Evil Queen from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.
