Benedict Cumberbatch has a lot on his plate right now. Two movies filming, two movies in pre-production, one in post-production, and one film that has just been announced. He is also rumored to have a part in "Zoolander 2", which is in post-production, and also has a "Sherlock" Christmas special that airs this year on Christmas Day.

The two films Cumberbatch has in pre-production are "Doctor Strange" and "The Current War". "Doctor Strange" is based off the Marvel comic series created by Steve Ditko, it will star Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. The film co-stars Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton. It's about a surgeon who learns how to keep the world safe against evil. In "The Current War", Cumberbatch will play Thomas Edison.
