Comparing Dekanawid And The Iroquois Constitution

Dekanawida versus Edwards Authors from the same period often write their stories a lot alike, but there is always some differences. Hundreds of years ago the writing stile was was very different from today, but back then it was normal to write what we now see as weird. The documents "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”, and "The Iroquois Constitution” are perfect examples, but while being similar they are still different. How are these two documents alike? Both Documents use a great amount similes and metaphors in their texts. For example one metaphor found in "Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God” that I was, “Those things on which they depend for peace and safety, were nothing but air and empty shadows.”(Jonathan Edwards page 49). and
