Communism by definition is a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs. The definition of communism sound great, and theoretically it would be the solution to poverty. In reality, though, it fails, quickly. If you do not have the opportunity to reach goals by hard work, you won`t work hard, if you don’t work hard on your farm, in your factory etc. then those places will fail. Your country won`t have the supplies it needs to succeed. Because of this communistic countries rarely succeed on pure communism for more than a few years.

It is not possible for either in their pure form to be able to keep a country running for more than a few years. However capitalism in its purest form doesn’t work either. The downfall to capitalism is that those that already have capital have a huge advantage over those who do not, and a society can become very unbalanced very quickly as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The rich can very easily control the population through low wages, manipulation and government influence. So most countries` governments run somewhere in-between, some lean more toward social and communism, while others lean more towards capitalism. Either way, you need some of
