Comparing Cat And Rat Chinese Zodiac

Cat’s and mice liked each other once but that never lasted. In the legends “Cat and Rat Chinese Zodiac” and “How Mice and Cat’s became enemies” the mouse does something that gets the cat mad. In the first legend Cat and Rat are in the race to see who can be in the Chinese Zodiac, But there can only be 12 animals. On the way they take a ride on Ox so they don’t have to swim in the water. Well half way through Rat says there is fish in the water so Cat gets up and looks but Rat is so selfish he pushes Cat in the water and wins the race himself. Cat didn’t get any of the places so she got mad and attacked rat. In the second legend Rat wants to go to the town to get some food and he doesn’t want to go alone so he asks Cat to come along with and he bribed her saying that their were delicious fish there too. But on the way there they have to pass a big river so they use a pumpkin to get across …show more content…
The first difference is that the first legend was a race while the other legend was a journey to town. Another difference is that in the first legend to cross the river they rode a buffalo. While in the second legend they rode in a pumpkin boat. A third difference is that in the first legend the Cat is a girl. While in the second the cat is a boy. Fourth difference is that in the first legend there are many characters while in the second legend there is only 2 characters. And finally the last difference in one legend the rat is the bag guy while in the other the rat is misunderstood or he didn’t mean to.

This essay was suppose to show you the similarities and differences of the legends of “Cat an Rat Chinese Zodiac” and “How Mice and Cat’s became enemies.” Just like I said Cat’s and mice use to like each other once but it never lasted.
