Although coming from different backgrounds, they shared the passion to fight corruption and inequality in a society dominated by men. Also, being of different cultures they still share similar values, like women’s rights, human life, and equality. Furthermore, they were both very powerful figures in two different parts of the world. Each has numerous accomplishment that helped better the lives of those in their community. Lee with her fight for labor rights to better labor conditions for workers and Bhutto for her right to give women an equal participation position in the government. In many ways they share similarities yet they are so different. They come from different backgrounds, different cultures, and both were highly intelligent, yet their gender become an obstacle for them. Also, they can both be called activists because in a way they each protested against the injustice in their method but it was through peaceful methods. I come to find both of these individuals very inspiring and they helped me realize that we can make a change. Even if the odds are against what we believe in we have to keep looking forward and make sure to never change to adapt to society but change society to adapt to you.
