Comparing Athena To Greek Gods And Goddesses

Gods and Goddesses surround the world’s lore, from stories of amazing heroes, parents of demigods that turn into great warriors. Although in many current culture tales, they show the famous gods helping and aiding protagonist, even an increase of half human, half gods in current literature. Now which is most famous to you? Zeus? Maybe Poseidon, or even Hades. Yes they are known well, but not as expressed or as beloved as the daughter of Zeus herself, Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and War. Athena is coated in amazement as she begins with her amazing origin, the gods she fought with, and how she surrounds the world around us even to this day.
Athena was not born normally, oh no, her birth was one that may not be the best for anyone. Zeus, God of the Gods and the Sky, was married to Metis, his first wife. There was a prophecy that Metis will bear two children the first a girl and the second a boy, who will overthrow Zeus. In fear of this boy that will be born, Zeus decided to trick his wife. Athena was one of the strongest Goddesses and since trouble was often in Olympus, she was one with many battles under her name. One was the fight between Hera, Aphrodite, and the Goddess of War herself, they all battled for the Golden Apple of Eris that read Kallisti, which mean “For the fairest.” Athena lost this battle by Aphrodite, when Paris, the judge, choose her over all.
