Comparing Act 5 Of William Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

In Act 5 Scene 1, it states “is it e’en so? Then I defy you stars! Thou know’st my lodging. Get me ink and paper and hire post horses. I will hence tonight.” Romeo is finding out about Juliet’s supposed it “death” and he saying that he must go to Verona tonight to see Juliet dead for himself. Romeo knows that if he steps foot in Verona he will be executed, but nevertheless Romeo doesn’t care about his fate. He just wants to see Juliet for one last time. This is really showing that love has no limits, because Romeo would go to a city where he knows he will be murdered just to see his lover. He is risking his life to see the love of his life and say his final goodbye.
