Riki-Tiki-Tavi is about a courageous mongoose that fights to save his friends. He

movie and story have many interesting similarities, as well as many differences. Mongoose are
known for their mind filled with curiosity. They are also known for traveling in groups of three
or more. The largest a mongoose can reach is 28-30 inches in length and weigh up to 8 pounds.
Mongooses are carnivores (meat eater).
The first difference I noticed between the movie and the story was pretty

This was the first difference I noticed from the movie and the story. As I said earlier that it
is true that mongooses travel in groups, not alone or by themselves. Large groups of mongooses
protect their young by attacking predators with their sharp claws. Mongooses have
non-retractable claws, which means that they can't hide them when they want. These are other
reasons why mongooses travel in groups.
Accordingly in the movie at the beginning the the dad and the little boy is walking and
they see the mongoose after he had fallen down the river. They bring Riki Tiki to there house to
bring it back to good health. In the story it was the mother and the little boy who had found the
mongoose after he had gone down the river and then brought it to there home to bring it back to
health. So, they were both different because in the movie the dad was walking with the boy, and
in the story the mom was walking with the boy.
The next difference between the movie and the story is still in the beginning. So
