Compare My Cultural Profile To That Of China's Plot

Decent Essays
I compare my Cultural Profile to that of China's plot.It matches some dimensions, such as interdependence and certainty. However, it is very different with status, indirect, and relationship. The reason I think is because China is still developed country, if some workers and employees want to move up, they would establish a good relationship with their boss and it cause they treat people differently. In addition, Chinese people always talk indirectly because they are influenced by Confucianism.

I have learned a lot of things by watching China X, and that includes things like the origin of writing and the significance of culture heroes. “If we take the early textual record, and look at that in terms of the kinds of ways in which people understood the beginning of civilization, then they typically begin with culture heroes” (2, 3, 00:25). Cultural heroes are human figures and sage leaders who invent things that are beneficial to the people and they promote the development of civilization. Cultural heroes could be real historical figures or mythological figures, and their stories are being passed on usually to serve certain purposes. I reached to this conclusion because of the many similarities I found throughout the course. First we learnt about how the Chinese believed the earth was formed how their life started from a seed and after this being kept on going and separated the sky and the land and then the snake like goddess created human beings. Even though this might not be similar coincidently many of our gods and goddesses too are half human and half animals.
