I think Katniss´ relationship with Gale helped her survival the most. I picked him because she has known him for just about her whole life and he helped her and her family anytime they needed him. One of the reasons he taught her how to make snares. He taught her this when they first met because he thought she was stealing it but then they worked it out to where they would work together. Katniss would animals stuff with her bow and gale would trap and carry them. This helped her in the arena because she could set snares then go to sleep and then there might be an animal that she could eat.
