Objectives: This study was performed to compare the anesthesia, analgesia and hemodynamic effects of two different anesthetic techniques for knee artroscopy.
Material and Methods: ASA I-II, 90 patients scheduled for arthroscopic meniscectomy were randomized into three groups. Spinal anaesthesia was performed with 7.5 mg hyperbaric bupivacaine (group S, n=30). Combined sciatic-femoral nerve block(25 ml for femoral nerve block and 15 ml for sciatic nerve block with bupivacaine or levobupivacaine) was performed with bupivacaine (group FS-B, n=30) or levobupivacaine (group FS-L, n=30).
