Romeo and Juliet is one of the most well known play from all of william shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet was written in the 1595 and now their has been many things that the movies have in common and they are also very different. One big difference would be how the characters are portrayed in each of the movies since shakespeare never included stage directions and shakespeare also did not give the actors the whole script but only some of the actors lines so that they could make the play more interesting using the heat of the moment. One of the biggest similarities in all three of the movies have in common is that they all have the same characters in the play or movie. A few things that all three of the movies have in common would that in all of the movies have the same characters and they also follow the same story line. The 2014 play is similar to the 1968 both use sword or at least some type of blade; Another thing that all three of the movies have in common is that they all use the same type of old language that was used at the time of william shakespeare. In all three of the movies both families the capulet and montague were very wealthy.

I myself just loved the way they put guns instead of swords and how they used cares and was filmed in a city in the modern society. Another reason that i like this film or movie the most is because it makes the whole story easier to understand than any other movie or play speacily the play that william shakespeare wrote which is really hard for me to understand the story mostly because william shakespeare wrote it to be acted in a play or in a movie so watching helps you understand a lot

The narrative voices of male characters in several pieces of art, literature, and music are shown sharing their enthusiastic response of endearment to a woman that they love. “Michelle” was a song performed by Sir Paul McCartney in the White House for President Barack Obama and his wife, the song was written by John Lennon. In the song the main male character sings to the woman he loves. He sings to her to tell her how fond he is of her and how a normal “I love you” won’t do the job for how much he loves her. Very much similar to the song is The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare.…

Between films and books, it is often seen how different the films tend to be in comparison with the real book story. In the play Macbeth, written by Shakespeare, and the 2015 movie of Macbeth, directed by Justin Kurzel, there are major differences seen. Although the film and the play share many similarities, the changes in the plot that occur during the movie change the flow and results of the situations occurring within the play. In the movie, Justin Kurzel takes away the psychological power Lady Macbeth has over different events, gives a different view of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, and the plot twist caused by Malcolm’s actions. Macbeth the film and Macbeth the play, show how a movie can differ from the actual message and mood the original author is in reality giving.…

Romeo and Juliet: Play vs. Movie Immediately I notice that there are two colors that stand out, one being red and the other blue. The red signifies the Montague family and the blue the Capulets. The colors help show who is in each family. The reason Baz Luhrmann picked red and blue instead of any other color is because the colors are opposites as are the families.…

Those movies were Gnomeo and Juliet, the 1968 version, and the 1996 versions of Romeo and Juliet movie productions. These movies differed much more than you would have thought they would. One of the first differences you notice is the difference in time periods. The time difference from the 14th century setting to a modern-day setting was not at all alarming since it was a children's movie, but the time difference weakened the effect of the 1996 version. The movie was based on a more modern age while it kept the same dialogue from the play which resulted in the movie seeming childish and portraying the directors as too lazy to update the script.…
