The United States is infamous for their linear school structure. The curriculum is generally the same for each grade level, mathematics, reading, social science, courses become more intense as the grade level rises. Students absorb necessary information needed to move forward to the next grade. In the long run they will pick up on fundamental skills they will need for the job force. This may sound like a practical way of learning, but U.S educational systems ranks 17 in the world and takes the 25th spot for reading proficiency worldwide, while Hong Kong soars high with the number one spot. The Chinese school system is steadily being refine, while that the US system remains stagnant and can use a few refinements.

Westerners are familiar with food 's ancient role as sustenance and energy. But these other roles play an even greater part in the overall homeostasis of out bodies. The food Americans eat during school can make them gasy and lazy. America is a consumer driven country and will do what it take to make a quick buck. Instead of just drinking Pepsi Cola, america’s would prefer variety like Vanilla pepsi cola. there is peer pressure amongst students to be great. This pressure starts at a young age by families inviting a substantial amount of money into their child 's education, therefore they can get into the higher caliber if colleges. In the US system there is a separation of the church and state therefore morals are not factor into students education. Getting into a college or university in the US is a guarantee is you do the work that is necessary to get there and Alternative routes are also available, for those that may be at an unfair disadvantage. For example if a student did not get the opportunity to finish high school they can take a series of General Education Development course for 6 week so they can receive their (GED) General Education Diploma and enroll in a college.
US classrooms do not intellectually excite students. Students become bored over time causing children to misbehave in class, in search of ways to entertain themselves.
