Compare And Contrast Two Different Types Of Agar Plates

A colony is a organism living together in the same area. In this experiment, we tested how many colonies we will have in two different types of agar plates. One will be our control and treatment. As a control, we used our unwashed hands and a Q-tip to swab our hand from the bottom of the thumb to the opposite side. Once we swabbed our hand, we spread the bacteria from the Q-tip to the plate agar. In the agar plate we divided it into 4 sections counting from the numbers 1 through 4. For the treatment we had to wash our hands and repeat the process of swabbing our hand and placed the Q-tip around the agar plate from 1-4 sections. Once the control and treatment were ready, we placed both agar plates to a location of 37C for 24 hours. A week later,
