One of the two tricks that Hades played on Persephone that he tricked her into doing, was about the golden flower. When the maidens and Persephone were walking down a trail together, there was flowers everywhere. They went into a blossoming meadow and was calling each other across from it. Then Persephone walked off by herself. Ahead she saw a beautiful meadow, and then a beautiful golden flower. She walked over to it and then the Earth opened up. She had fallen into Hades secret underground lair. That was one of the two tricks Hades played on Persephone.
