During the 1600s and 1800s standards of art and style was set by wealthy families, governments, and influential people. Today I feel as if art is a lot more independent and less rule oriented. Notably, I have seen that art can now be done on almost any material or object. Including on a computer or tablet, artists are creating different techniques to produce art. This also includes the use of using the old style of photography that was invented back in the 1700s, photography and video production are very popular art forms. Now almost anyone can make their art become noticed by using the Internet. Attention from social media may gives photographers even larger market and audience. Art is more democratically produced now a days.
