It is important to contrast the Ramsey ransom demand alongside other genuine threat texts, and one of the most notable is the Lindbergh kidnapping in 1932. This is one of the most infamous cases regarding threat texts and a note was left demanding $50,000 initially in return of their infant son, however, this increased to $75,000 . The case concerned the abduction of a couple’s son who was later found dead just over two months after the initial kidnapping.
