Both The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, a professional production, and The Millennial Malcontent, an amateur one, have intricate sets that are made to be manipulated to create varying settings with little movement. All the production seemed to mimic that concept that the construction of straight lines and graphic visuals. It used a more abstract set using at points only lights to build houses, subway stations, and mathematical problems. Whereas The Millennial Malcontent used set pieces that could find in real life settings like couches, pianos, and tables. Another similarity is the way the cast interacts with the audience they both break the fourth wall addressing the audience.
