Revolutions have been a part of history since the first empire, some still go on today. I will be writing about 3 revolutions that we have learned about in World History; the revolution of Mexico, the U.S. revolution, and the French revolution. I will also discuss the goals and results of these events as well as the similarities and differences of them.
The Mexican Revolution was caused by the people of latin america no longer wanting to be ruled by a european power. They wanted to rule their own people and wanted a monarchy to better benefit them. They were successful in driving out their former european rulers and claiming the land of Mexico as their new land, they also appointed their first king not to long after their new independence. They were influenced by the revolution of Brazil and Argentina, after hearing that the Brazilians drove out the Portuguese, they felt they could do the same against Spain. Unity was the ultimate goal of the revolution and unity helped them become an independent nation.
