The book Hatchet does a better job of telling the novel Hatchet than the movie “A Cry In The Wild”. One example of foreshadowing is when the hatchet hit upside the rock and made a spark and help give an image of what he needed to make the fire.Due to this in the book it explained how the hatchet hit the rock and helped him make the fire. On the other hand, in the movie, it did not say why it made it help him make the fire it just showed the Hatchet hitting the rock and him making the fire with it. I believe this because the book gave more details and said more about what happened.Plus the movie really did not have any words or say much.This is why I say the book Hatchet does a better job of telling the story.
