In the story of The Great Gatsby, the narrator who explains everything is named Nick and he tells us about all the characters in The Great Gatsby . To know more about Nick the narrator, he is a non judgemental person , rich, joined the WW1. Then there is Gatsby, who is the main character. Tom is married to Daisy who is cousins with Nick, and Jordan Baker is Daisy’s friend and is interested in Nick. Myrtle is Tom’s mistress who he tries to keep secret, but everyone knows he is having an affair. Nick lived in the East Egg and across is West Egg where his cousin Daisy lives . Nick went to go visit Daisy for a while and when he arrives Tom takes Nick to his house. Nick stays in this little house and is neighbours with the one and only The Great

The movie from 1974 tells the story differently, than the movie in 2013. The first movie was a classic movie. The old movie chose to tell the story more closely to the way the book told the story. The music they played was from the 2000’s which that type of music did not exist because it was the 1900’s . In the party there were girls hanging from the ceiling and show girls, none of that exist back in the day. The second movie was more of a flashback and the first one was more like a story telling about what happened. Gatsby had a flashback about how he became who he is now, the other version did not really talk about that. The first version was told more calming and not very interesting that it grabs the audience attention, did not go all out like the second version. The second one was very outgoing! It was more interesting and it grabbed people 's attention, as it did for me. It was not very classic or calming like the original version. In the old version Gatsby dad shows up to the funeral and in the new movie he did not. In the new version it shows when they kill Myrtle but In the old one It did not.
