Probably the most common religions all, Christianity. Christianity began from Jesus of Nazareth preaching his ideas. He did not originally plan for his ideals to be a part of a religion, but because of Saint Paul it ended up occurring. Saint Paul ended up spreading the Christians' belief to all over Europe and then to Asia. This caused Christianity to be one of the most successful and popular religions. The effect of Christianity on many empires was very positive. Not many empire fought it, but rather accepted it and transformed their culture it fit it in. In The religion they believe in one god, who is called "God." Their belief is if you do not sin and be a good person then God will allow you into heaven, and if not then into hell. This religion, similar to Christianity, was not intentionally supposed to be a religion. The main belief with Buddhism is to eliminate desire, then you will reach Nirvana. Nirvana is a place where you supposedly go after you die and you follow the basic guidelines with the religion. The origin of Buddhism is pretty interesting and surprising. A prince in India who was consolidated in his home went out after one day to explore the nature around him. He noticed that that many people were in pain. Siddhartha Gautama, or the Buddha, created a way for him to meditate and get rid of desire from his body. Thus creating the religion we know today as Buddhism.
