Comparing a Play and Movie The play version of The Diary of Anne Frank tells the story of Anne frank, read by her father from her diary. In this play, Anne isn living in hiding, in an annex, above her father's warehouse. Recently a movie has been released, that shows Anne's life in hiding. In this movie, You see Anne's walking out on the street, and meeting and interacting with the other characters. Although the play and the movie have the same differences in organizational structure, and character actions, both works contain the same major conflicts.
